6. Temporary Road Closure - Nelson Arts Festival 2023
Document number R27845, agenda pages 13 - 20 refer.
Contracts Supervisor – Roading, Gillian Dancey, supported by Group Manager Infrastructure, Alec Louverdis, took the report as read and noted two corrections to the report, that the Arts Festival is a yearly event not biennial and that the event is named the “Masked Carnivale” not “Mask Carnivale Parade”.
Ms Dancey made note that after the submission period closed, a resident of Selwyn Place raised concerns around access to their property. Officers advised that this had been resolved and the resident would be provided access both morning and evening.
