  6       Nelson Airport Limited – six monthly strategic presentation

This item was included in the Confidential Agenda, however the Chair noted that it would be considered in the open meeting.

Paul Steere, Board Chair, Mark Thompson, Chief Executive Officer and Simon Orr, Corporate Services Manager of Nelson Airport Ltd presented the six-monthly strategic presentation (tabled A2859854) and answered questions on the Health and Safety, noting this was a priority, with a focus on hazards and improvements.  

Attendance: Councillors Tim Skinner and Trindi Walker joined the meeting at 9.43am.

  7       Port Nelson Limited -  six monthly strategic presentation

Paul Zealand, Board member, and Hugh Morrison, Chief Executive Officer of Port Nelson Limited presented the six-monthly strategic presentation (tabled A2859838) and answered questions on COVID-19 PCR testing system, business in the port, container volumes, slipway and waste water treatment projects.

The meeting was adjourned at 10.51 a.m. and reconvened at 11.03a.m.

  8       Tasman Bays Heritage Trust – six monthly strategic presentation

Olivia Hall, Chair of the Tasman Bays Heritage Trust, and Lucinda Blackley-Jimson, Chief Executive of the Nelson Provincial Museum, presented the Tasman Bays Heritage Trust six monthly strategic presentation (tabled A2860061) and answered questions on fund raising, visitation activities, visits to schools, outdoor programmes, supporting cultural organisations and community work.
