The Panel noted the resignations of members Johnson and Ettridge.

The panel also noted that the initial resignation of Jessica Ettridge didn’t create a vacancy on the panel, but a vacancy was created with the subsequent resignation of Hannah Johnson.  The meeting noted that as:

it was impractical to fill the vacancy during the covid-19 pandemic levels 3 and 4 restrictions,

there was insufficient time to undertake the full appointment process of community nomination and appointment by the Community Services Committee before funding decisions needed to be made, and

the panel had a quorum plus one (i.e. four members)

the panel agreed to carry the vacancy for the 2020/21 funding round, and invite Kaye Latham as an additional community representative to attend the meetings, with speaking rights.

Community Contracts Adviser, Paul Prestidge, presented an overview of applications and noted the total fund for disbursement was $125,094.

The meeting was adjourned at 12.25 p.m. until 10.30 a.m. on Monday 7 September 2020.

The panel then considered the applications and made the following decisions.
