Meg Matthews (Board member) and Mark Rawson (Chief Executive) will give a presentation on the Nelson Regional Development Agency.

7.       Tasman Bays Heritage Trust six month strategic presentation

Olivia Hall, Chair of the Tasman Bays Heritage Trust, Emma Thompson, Deputy Chair and Lucinda Blackley-Jimson, Chief Executive of the Nelson Provincial Museum will give a presentation.

Recommendation

 

That the Joint Committee

1.       Confirms, in accordance with sections 48(5) and 48(6) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, that Hugh Morrison and Geoff Dangerfield from Port Nelson Ltd remain after the public has been excluded, for Item 1 of the Confidential agenda (Port Nelson Ltd six month strategic presentation), as they have knowledge relating to Port Nelson Ltd that will assist the meeting.

2.       Confirms, in accordance with sections 48(5) and 48(6) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, that Simon Orr and Paul Steere from Nelson Airport Ltd remain after the public has been excluded, for Item 1 of the Confidential agenda (Nelson Airport Ltd six month strategic presentation), as he has knowledge relating to Nelson Airport Ltd that will assist the meeting.

That the Joint Committee

1.       Excludes the public from the following parts of the proceedings of this meeting.

2.       The general subject of each matter to be considered while the public is excluded, the reason for passing this resolution in relation to each matter and the specific grounds under section 48(1) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 for the passing of this resolution are as follows:
